Right click the correct drive and enable BitLocker

Wait for startup

Select password encryption and use a password with sufficient complexity

Print the recovery key to a PDF file or paper, save the file somewhere safe where you can recover it in case it's needed

Choose fast mode for unused drives, slow mode if there is already files on the drive

Choose mode

If you are distributing the USB drive to other people outside your organization, use Compatible Mode

Finish the encryption process

Decrypting / Opening an encrypted drive on another computer

Open the drive in Explorer

Type in the password
