Requirements
• You can’t be logged in to the servers through the Virtual Desktop/ Remote Desktop.
• Windows Vista / 7 / 8 / 2008 / 2012
What does this mean?
You can use software that is on the server but not on your PC.
Example: You search for Handyman in the start menu and it will appear even if you have not installed it since it “borrows” (streams) the software from the server.
This requires that you have an internet connection.
Open the control panel and find RemoteApp
- Choose «Access RemoteApp…» as shown in the picture
- Type the server URL: https://remotedesktop2.easysolutions.no/RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx
- Push next and accept requests that may occur, such as "do you trust this source" etc
- Credentials dialogue
- The domain is: EASO
The username and password should have been received by e-mail or your IT contact.
Choose here «Use another acc..»
Type in credentials as shown in the picture below.
Choose «Remember my credentials»
Press «OK».
How to find the software you have been assigned
The programs can be identified by its name as it will contain the text (Work Resources) after the name of the software.
If you open the start menu and write “work” you will get the list of software that is streamed from the server
